ASUU Have No Reason To End Strike– Reno Omokri Knocks Buhari Over Accountant Generals N80 Billion Fraud
Reno Omokri, in a tweet, said ASUU should keep the strike going in the wake of the alleged theft of N80 billion from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.
Idris was arrested in connection with an alleged N80 billion scam by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Wilson Uwajaren, a spokesman for the EFCC, confirmed Idris’ detention on Monday after he failed to respond to the agents’ invitations.
Idris allegedly diverted funds and laundered N80 billion, according to the anti-graft agency.
ASUU should demand that President Muhammadu Buhari reclaim the N80 billion and use it to meet their requests, according to Omokri.
“Ask Buhari to use the stolen ₦80 billion to pay you and keep the change. After all, the money ASUU is asking for is not even up to ₦80 billion!”
