Breaking News: President Buhari Addresses Nigerians | A More Read

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, has announced the reopened of the following in the country.

1.Religious gatherings: Churches and Mosques only.

2. Banks

All Banks to commence full operations from 8am to 5pm

3. Domestic air flight

Domestic air flight operations to resume by 21st June.

4. All offices in the country.

All offices are to open for normal working hours from 8am to 5pm except govt offices that opens only for people from Grade 14 upwards

5. Hotels:

Hotels are free to open and operate including the restaurants inside hotels

Except the following:

President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that the following should remain closeed.

1. Inter state movements:

Inter state movement remains restricted except for goods and special services.

2. Restaurants:

Restaurants are still closed for sit in customers. They are only to operate on take away.

3. schools

All schools remain closed but plans underway for those to write exit exams

4.Bars, cinemas and clubs

Bars, cinemas, clubs etc remain closed.

The Presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19 disclosed this on Monday during a press briefing.

Recall. The Federal Government had earlier announced a nationwide lockdown, Due to the COVID-19. The total lockdown was meant to curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. The total lockdown forbids any social gathering, or movement in the country.

For adequate information, Below are the points mentioned at the briefing.

1.Ban on religious gatherings have been lifted by the federal govt but such gatherings are for churches and mosques only.

States to bring out the guidelines for their respective states.

2. Banks to commence full operations from 8am to 5pm

3. Domestic air flight operations to resume by 21st June.

4. Inter state movements remains restricted except for goods and special services.

5. All offices are to open for normal working hours from 8am to 5pm except govt offices that opens only for people from Grade 14 upwards.

6. Restaurants are still closed for sit in customers . They are only to operate on take away.
